A Long Island Native, Ms. Neglia has appeared regularly with the University Orchestra, The Stony Brook Baroque Ensemble, The Camerata Singers, The Stony Brook Opera Workshop and in various solo recitals. Her operatic repertoire includes Blonde from Mozart's "The Abduction From the Seraglio", Despina, from "Cosi Fan Tutte", Lucia in "The Rape of Lucretia," The Fairy in "Cendrillion", L'Amour in Amherst Early Music's production of "Sur L'amour, La mort et la follie" and Cleopatra in Händel's "Giuglio Cesare".


Ms. Neglia is a recipient of achievement awards from the Eastern Suffolk Performers Club and from the Undergraduate Recognition Awards Committee. She is a graduate of the Centro Studi Italiani program in Urbania, Italy and a four-time recipient of the Jim Lord Scholarship Fund at SUNY Stony Brook where will received a B.F.A in Music and Italian Language under the vocal tutelage of mezzo-soprano Elaine Bonazzi.


On April 23rd, Ms. Neglia performed with the University Orchestra as a winner of the 2002 Undergraduate Concerto Competition.
